Embrace the Wonk

Renowned local artists called Tuesday Junction are holding a joint exhibition titled Embrace the Wonk.

A large collaborative work will surprise and impress visitors on entry to the gallery. Local artists Tuesday Junction have built an installation that began as a shared commitment to making something together that none could make alone. The process – messy, wonky, gloriously unruly and occasionally stubborn – mirrors the work itself. The evolution of the piece took place over many weeks as the artists hand-built the large forms with wire and paper mache.

The artists are Anne Mawson, Bronwyn Morton, Carole Ciavarella, Carolyn Rolls, Jan Taylor, Jill Kenley, Kerry Williams, Penny Silver, Rebecca Wells and Robyn Berry.

The Foundry Arts Space is a volunteer-run, community gallery situated in the historic port precinct of Echuca.
